DESCRIPTION:Using practices from Full Presence Mindfulness: A Pocket Companion, we learn a relaxed way of seeing that encourages intimacy with whatever appears in the field of experience. \nAfter a brief orientation to Full Presence Mindfulness, students will go on a walkabout and return with photographs to share. This class is a way to play with the openness of simply seeing.\nParticipants will receive a copy of Full Presence Mindfulness: A Pocket Companion. Students must provide their own camera or cell phone.\nNote: this workshop is an in-person workshop taking place in Berkeley, California. This is not an online course.\nCost: $30\nInstructors: Hugh Joswick (he/him) and Ignacio Ercole (they/them)\nHugh Joswick is a long-time student and instructor at Center for Creative Inquiry and the Nyingma Institute and has life-long interest in photography and documentary filmmaking. \nIgnacio Ercole is the editor and artist for the Pocket Companion. An instructor at the Center for Creative Inquiry and practicing psychotherapist, Ignacio brings a sensitivity to the artistic process that opens and investigates the transformation of awareness in everyday life\n
