SUMMARY:Embody the Current 4-week Class
DESCRIPTION:Take a moment to notice what occurs when you become aware of the flow of time – an experience of the future unfolding. Like the current of a river, the flow happens without any special effort. Tuning into this dynamic energy of Time can develop a unique way of Being that may support more availability to be with life in a more confident way.\nHow can we embody the current? How can we tune into the dynamic of Time and be fully present while any experiences arise? We will experiment with different practices to develop a unique understanding of Time in this group dialogue centered space.\nDrop by one of our two free introductory workshops in February to see if this practice lands with you. This 4-week course will continue the exploration throughout March. Registration is on a sliding scale.\nSome understanding of contemplative practice is encouraged for this course.\nAdrian Roman (he/él) was introduced to the Time Space Knowledge (TSK) vision in 2014 and has been training in Full Presence Mindfulness (FPM) since 2017. He continues to be inspired by these modalities as it supports an openness to life. His practice also nurtures his passions for facilitation, mediation, conflict resolution, and cooperative consulting. In his teachings, Adrian centers inclusion and strives to cultivate spaces where we can feel confidence. He is of Cuban and Chilean descent; his culture and family history informs his teaching style.\nCost: The sliding scale is for the purpose of economic justice, allowing those who have benefited from unjust and inequitable systems to cover a greater share of the costs of the course and acknowledging generations of stolen land and resources for BIPOC. We ask that you take your privilege and access to resources in a global context into account when choosing the appropriate level of registration fee. We are committed to making this course as accessible as possible, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you need additional support with the course fee, please email morgan@creativeinquiry.org with a request for a full fee waiver.\n
